3 Point Basketball Academy was founded by Taiwanese professional basketball player (Perry Yang) Yang Yuming.
Mr. Yang Yuming has been selected for the Chinese Taipei National Team seven times, and won gold and silver medals at the East Asian Games.
He was also All-Star Game six times winner and was elected MVP (Most Valuable Player).
He once participated in the CBA two seasons in mainland China, and then returned to Taiwan to join the Taiwan Beer Basketball Team. He won the championship title at Taiwan Beer and gained 3,000 professional points, ranking fifth in Taiwan.
Mr. Yang Yuming announced his retirement in 2013. In the same year, his family moved to Los Angeles, California, and founded the "3 Point Basketball Academy" inspired by his exquisite record of 11 consecutive three-pointers in one game.
3 Point Basketball Academy 是由台湾职业篮球国手 Perry Yang 杨玉明创立。
杨玉明先生曾七次入选中华台北国家队，并在东亚运动会上获得了金牌和银牌，在他的职业生涯中，他曾六次入选全明星赛，当选一次全明星赛MVP（Most Valuable Player）最优秀选手。
他曾经在中国大陆参加了CBA的两个赛季，然后回到台湾加入了台湾啤酒篮球队。他在台湾啤酒 Taiwan Beer 赢得了冠军头衔，并获得了3000个职业积分，排名全台湾第五。
杨玉明先生于2013年宣布退役，同年举家移居美国加州洛杉矶，在洛杉矶创办了三分球篮球学院。在杨玉明先生的整个篮球职业生涯中，以能够远距离投篮命中率而闻名，他曾经在比赛中连续命中11个三分球，所以他选择了“三分球”做为篮球学院的命名。

来自台湾的前中华男篮国手杨玉明，今年夏天在哈岗举办篮球夏令营活动，用他十多年的篮球实战经验，亲自教导南加州六到十三岁的华裔小朋友如何打篮球，而杨玉明从一个台湾高雄出生的乡下小孩，摇身成为台湾超级篮球联赛SBL史上第五位拿下生涯三千分的篮球国手，到现在移民美国准备栽培下一代篮球好手，这一段心路历程走得虽然辛苦，却也让杨玉明一步步迈向梦想实现的一天。
